Nova Scotia Examinations in English/English Communications 12
The Nova Scotia Examinations in English 12 and English/Communications 12 (NSE English) evaluate student achievement relative to the Atlantic Canada English Language Arts Curriculum. These examinations are administered at the end of the semester in January and June.
The NSE English results provide teachers with information about student performance in English Language Arts. Examinations are scored by the grade 12 teacher. The examination result comprises 30% of the student's final grade in English.
